BEC OT GOLD COAST

Bec Atiifale

Hi, I’m Bec Atiifale, Occupational Therapist and founder of Access Matters Occupational Therapy. I’ve been an OT for over 11 years and have spent most of my career working with adults and older adults in the community, where I feel most at home. I hold a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, am registered with AHPRA, and am an accredited DVA provider.

I love getting to know my clients and their families, building strong relationships, and finding practical ways to make everyday life easier and safer. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a range of settings, including aged care and the NDIS space for the past 6 years. This experience has allowed me to connect with people living with a wide variety of disabilities and continue to build my knowledge and understanding of how best to support each individual.

My specialties include basic and complex assistive technology and home modifications, helping people find meaningful and effective solutions that truly make a difference in their lives. I’m known for being thorough, approachable, and a natural problem solver, always taking the time to ensure my recommendations fit each person’s goals and lifestyle.

I grew up in a small country town, which taught me a thing or two about resourcefulness and creating your own fun! These days, I call the Gold Coast home, where I live with my husband, our two young girls, and our two energetic dachshunds.

At the heart of my work is a simple goal; to help people feel confident, supported, and independent in the place they call home.
